It takes approx. 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup.
The Maple trees we tap, are on our own on our property. Maple syrup is made by removing most of the water and caramelizing the sugar. We add no flavoring, additives, or preservatives. Our syrup is all natural! We have chosen not to pursue the costly certification process at this time, although we use organic methods, we are not "certified".
Yes! Our operation is family owned, family run for the last 48 years. All of our syrup is produced from approx 10,000 taps from our own trees, we gather our own sap and produce syrup in our sugar house on our property. We sell retail online, at our sugarhouse, at other retail outlets, and Events & Farmers Markets. We also sell wholesale & Bulk.
